ZAO «Binnopharm»
ZAO «Binnopharm» («Binnopharm» Closed Joint Stock Company – «Binnopharm» CJSC) has been founded in 2006, with 100% of the Company’s charter capital belonging to AFK «Sistema» (Finance Corporation «System»). AFK «Sistema» has invested RUR 4,3 billion in a new biotechnological and pharmaceutical complex of «Binnopharm» CJSC.
On October 9, 2009 there has been officially inaugurated the industrial complex «Binnopharm» in Zelenograd Administrative Division of the City of Moscow.
In December 2009, «Binnopharm» Company has entered the structure of Moscow Industrial Business and Trade Association (MTPP); Registration Certificate № 122-589.
Since January 2010, «Binnopharm» is a member of Rosmedprom Association of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP).
In March 2010, «Binnopharm» has been listed as a resident of Moscow Special Economic Zone that provides for substantial preferences for production localization, including the tax ones.
«Binnopharm» Company has become a winner of the Russian national competition «The Best Russian Enterprises. Dynamics, Efficiency, Responsibility – 2009». Nomination – «Innovation Project».
Main achievements 2010 in innovative development and investments attraction for CJSC «Binnopharm» are:
- Collaborative contract with Moscow State University, subject "Placing a hi-tech production of cell technology products for regenerative medicine".
- Strategic alliance with GlaxoSmithKline in order to localize production of innovative vaccines in RF and technologies transfer.
Today, the «Binnopharm» complex is:
- the biggest biological and pharmaceutical complex in RF that meets GMP international standards, with area of 32 thousand square meters;
- 20 thousand square meters of classified premises;
- 5,7 thousand square meters of «net» premises with special environment control conditions;
- Class A – 50 square meters, Class B – 145 square meters, Class C – 1010 square meters, and Class D – 4580 square meters;
To provide for successful operation of the «Binnopharm» biological and pharmaceutical complex, it is planned to have more than 600 people employed. Already today, there has been working a leading group of scientists – biotechnologists in Russia, which develops the state-of-the-art genetic engineering preparations.
Activity of «Binnopharm» Company aims at production of innovative medical aids that meet GMP international standards and implementation of an import replacement program. Here are set production lines for releasing of basic dosage forms: pills, capsules, vials and ecologically safe aerosols. «Binnopharm» is also a distributor of pharmaceutical substances and off-the-shelf dosage forms.
Biotechnology and genetic engineering have special status in the activity of «Binnopharm» Company. The enterprise possesses a unique full-cycle biotechnological production in Russia, with the most integrated and equipped laboratory for biotechnological preparation quality control. Here is produced a vaccine against the viral Hepatitis B – Regevac B.
Vaccine «Regevac B» produced now by «Binnopharm» CJSC, as to its properties, meets the World Health Organization’s requirements, and it is not inferior to, and upon certain indicators – leaves behind the foreign analogs. It is the most efficient and expedient recombinant vaccine for use in the territory of the Russian Federation, produced on the basis of Hepatitis B virus’ strain, serotype ay.
Basic therapeutic groups of preparations, the production of which is projected in the new «Binnopharm» complex, are: haematology, oncology, infectious diseases, and respiratory diseases. Underway is development of biotechnological preparations that have principally new therapeutic opportunities, including treatment of diseases incurable in the past (cancer, AIDS, disseminated sclerosis), as well as new transport nanoforms. The Company’s production line has been continuously expanding.
